Biography
Ms. Monica J. Washington Rothbaum, Esq. serves as Chief Operating Officer for Bogin, Munns, and Munns, as well as a corporate and transactional attorney in the Commercial Department.
Ms. Rothbaum has over 23 years of experience in law and executive management. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Rothbaum served as Deputy General Counsel and Managing Director for AAA, Inc. and General Counsel for the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety. Before that she served as General Counsel, Corporate Secretary, Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Operating Officer for several successful private entities and ventures in medical device technology, and defense, safety and security, energy services, and telecommunications sectors. In these organizations, Ms. Rothbaum had a broad role: managing the legal department; supervising the administrative functions (including human resources, commercial and government contracts, insurance and risk management); advising business development and marketing initiatives; and managing M&A, strategic investments and financing rounds.
Ms. Rothbaum has worked both domestically and aboard, in public and private entities, in law firms and in-house. She also has extensive experience with government contracting.
